Combos Of The Week: Week 39 Virtual Padwork Online Boxing Series

Welcome to the thirty-ninth instalment of Combos Of The Week. This series is a complete recap of the Virtual Padwork library I built in 2023.

If you are looking for a structured way to learn about online boxing, this series will serve as a reference guide. Instead of hunting through a social media feed, you can find the technical sequences right here, grouped by week, to study in your own time.

Combo 267: The Serrano

Stance: Southpaw

Inspired by Amanda Serrano’s relentless volume and southpaw variety. This sequence is a masterclass in level-changing and "Head Control." It transitions from a body-shot entry into tight uppercuts in the pocket, finishing with a punishing high-low hook flurry.

Combo 269: 12563 Reverse

Stance: Southpaw

A coordination-heavy drill designed to master the "up the middle" shots. For the southpaw, this involves firing the 1-2-5-6-3 (Jab, Cross, Lead Uppercut, Rear Uppercut, Lead Hook) and immediately reversing the order to build coordination and hand speed.

Stance: Orthodox

This drill focuses on resetting the power on both hands. After a lead uppercut (the 5), you slip to reload it. Following a 2-1-4 flurry, you roll to the right to reload the rear hook (the 4), teaching you to find power even at the end of a long combination.

Combo 271: 12 Block Block 3 Slip 33

Combo 272: The Katie

Inspired by Katie Taylor’s extraordinary hand speed and combination flow. This sequence uses slips and feints to bridge the gap, followed by a trademark high-volume flurry that moves from the head to the body and back again with lightning pace.
