Is Your Schedule
Knocking Out Your Progress?
We all love the buzz of a boxing gym, the rattle of the bags, and the snap of the pads. But for most of us, a busy life, rising costs, and packed classes often get in the way of that "perfect" routine.
When you can't make it to the gym, it’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind, losing your edge, or just lacking discipline. But it’s none of that. The problem is the commute, the location, and the restrictive class times. You just need a better way to keep your hands moving.
I’m Deniz, a boxing coach since 2012. I built Virtual Padwork because I saw too many students lose progress because they depended on being at the gym.
Whether you’re stuck at home or just can't join a class, you can now bring the boxing training to your space:
The Coach Deniz Padwork System: Built on 10+ years of coaching experience, this system teaches you how to read cues, link combinations, and find your flow. You will learn 76 drills and test yourself across 12 dedicated rounds tailored for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
The 90-Day Program: Master counter-punching over 3 months. As you drop from 3-punch counters in Month 1 to single punch counters in Month 3, your pace accelerates. Each week features a cue (punch, block, head movement, or footwork), via 6 days of daily combos and 1 test round.
The Boxing Combo Library: Struggling with a combination? This library covers 24 basic techniques and systematically pairs them for over 1,000 videos in both stances. It also includes a web app to help you find the exact two-move combination you want to practice.
Virtual Padwork keeps your boxing goals on track, no matter your schedule.

Sharpen your technique by learning a wide range of combinations from a comprehensive library, which helps improve fluidity and muscle memory.
Complements Gym Training:
Whether you're a beginner or experienced, virtual padwork fits perfectly between gym sessions. It refines your coordination, and because there is no impact on joints, it helps with injury prevention and recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is Virtual Padwork?Virtual Padwork is a form of online boxing training, specifically guided shadowboxing. During virtual padwork, a coach on a screen provides cues for punch combinations, effectively acting as the viewer's virtual pad holder to improve timing, rhythm, and muscle memory.
Who is Virtual Padwork for?
Virtual Padwork is ideal for busy professionals who cannot commit to a gym, as well as those who want extra practice between their gym sessions.
Do I need boxing experience to start?
No. You can start with no prior knowledge. The content begins with an introduction to the fundamental techniques, allowing you to progress to more complex combinations in your own time.
Do I need to be fit to start?
No. As you use the videos, you will naturally build your fitness level. What matters is your willingness to learn and practice.
Do I need any equipment?
No. You don't need any special equipment to get started, just a device and some space. You will simply need an internet connection to stream the videos.
Will Virtual Padwork improve my sparring?
Virtual Padwork is an excellent tool for building muscle memory. However, it does not replicate the unpredictable nature of sparring. For that, you should attend a local boxing club run by a qualified and experienced boxing trainer.
What is the story behind the Virtual Padwork series?
In December 2023, I launched #ComboOfTheDay, an online series of virtual padwork videos. I designed these videos for accessibility, presenting real-time demonstrations and slow breakdowns that used visual graphics, sound effects, and on-screen text, completely eliminating spoken instructions.
When one video went viral in January 2024, messages of gratitude poured in. This deepened my commitment to 365 days of boxing combinations. Upon completion, the series became an expansive, invaluable and completely free resource for aspiring boxers everywhere.

What is the Coach Deniz Padwork System? The Coach Deniz Padwork System includes 76 drills and 36 rounds to test yourself.
The drills include cues for punches, blocks, head movement, and footwork combinations. Most of the cues are non-verbal, and some are cued with text presented on the screen.
The rounds are divided into 3 sets of 12, namely: beginners, intermediate, and advanced.
The beginner rounds are structured and performed at a steady pace.
The intermediate rounds are unstructured and performed at a fast pace.
The advanced rounds are unstructured, fast-paced, and include a set of 12 highly specific, pro boxer combinations cued with text.
What is the 90-Day Padwork Program?
The 90-day program is structured across 3 distinct monthly phases.
The program is broken down by the number of punches following an initial move:
Month 1: 3-punches.
Month 2: 2-punches.
Month 3: 1-punch.
Within each month, the program has a weekly focus on a specific skill:
Week 1: Punch Week
Week 2: Block Week
Week 3: Head Movement Week
Week 4: Footwork Week
For instance, during "Block Week," all combinations begin with a block; during "Head Movement Week," they start with a head movement; and during "Footwork Week," they begin with a footwork technique.
Each day, you learn a new "Combo of the Day". At the end of each week (Day 7), you test your skills with a "Round of the Week" that incorporates the combinations you've learned.
The combinations get shorter each month to increase the pace of the rounds over time.
The entire program is designed to be cyclical, allowing you to revisit it as part of a quarterly routine to continuously improve your skills.
What is the Boxing Combo Library?
The Boxing Combo Library outlines 24 basic techniques and systematically pairs them into 576 combinations. Because it covers both orthodox (right) and southpaw (left) stances, the library features over 1,000 video demonstrations. Its core purpose is to isolate fundamental, two-move sequences for drilling, recognizing that even the most advanced boxing combinations are built from these basic techniques.
To make navigating the library easy, it comes equipped with a web-based application designed to help you quickly identify and pinpoint the specific two-technique combination you want to practice.
What do the symbols on the bottom corners of the videos mean?
The symbol on the bottom left of the videos indicates the boxing stance.
The symbol on the bottom right is a reminder to keep a safe distance from the screen.
