Combos Of The Week: Week 40 Virtual Padwork Online Boxing Series
Welcome to the fortieth instalment of Combos Of The Week. This series is a complete recap of the Virtual Padwork library I built in 2023.
If you are looking for a structured way to learn about online boxing, this series will serve as a reference guide. Instead of hunting through a social media feed, you can find the technical sequences right here, grouped by week, to study in your own time.
Combo 274: The Gatti
Stance: Orthodox
Inspired by Arturo "Thunder" Gatti’s legendary grit and signature lead hook. This sequence starts with a powerful cross to force the opponent's hands forward, followed by a relentless triple lead hook attack—alternating between the head and body to break the guard.

Combo 275: 12 Step 25 Slip Roll 11
Stance: Southpaw
A sophisticated distance-management drill. After the initial 1-2, the step back pulls the opponent into a cross-uppercut counter. The slip and roll ensure you remain elusive before resetting the range with a double jab.

Combo 276: Feint Split-Jab
Stance: Orthodox
A masterclass in the "Split-Jab"—the act of jabbing while simultaneously slipping your head off the center line. By preceding it with a feint, you bait the opponent into throwing their own jab, which you then slip while landing yours.

Jab and Slip Right
Combo 277: 1312 Loop
Stance: Southpaw
This drill focuses on the rapid-fire jab-hook-jab-cross rhythm. Looping this builds the specific shoulder endurance and hand speed required to overwhelm an opponent's vision and defence.

Combo 278: The Mancini
Stance: Orthodox
Inspired by Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini’s aggressive inside style. This drill uses a rear hook to get inside, followed by a "Head Control" post with the same hand to hold the target in place for a devastating, short-range lead hook.
Combo Sequence:
Right Hook
Head Control (Right Hand)
Left Hook
Combo 279: Block Block 3 Block 3 Step 2
Stance: Southpaw
A defensive-to-offensive transition drill. After neutralizing a flurry with blocks, you fire back with the lead hook. The tactical step back lures the opponent to follow you, walking them directly into a finishing straight left cross.

Combo 280: Block Block 3 Slip Roll Step 11
