Combo 162: The Gennady

Stance: Orthodox

Inspired by the heavy-handed pressure of Gennady Golovkin. This sequence focuses on relentless alternating power shots, concluding with a deceptive low lead hook or uppercut designed to dig into the ribs as the opponent tries to cover their chin.

Combo Sequence:

  • Jab

  • Cross

  • Left Hook

  • Cross

  • Left Hook

  • Low Left Hook / Low Left Uppercut

Combo 163: 123 Block 32 Roll Roll

Stance: Southpaw

A drill for maintaining offense under fire. After an initial three-punch flurry, you catch a return hook on your lead block and immediately fire back with a 3-2. The sequence ends with double rolls to ensure you exit the pocket without taking a hit.

  • Cross

  • Right Hook

  • Right Block

  • Roll Left

Combo 164: Jab Body 5211

Stance: Orthodox

This sequence utilizes a jab followed by a low right hook to change the opponent's eye line. By following the body shot with a lead uppercut and a cross, you bring their guard back up, finishing with a double jab to maintain distance and reset the rhythm.

Combo 165: 12 Check Hook 2

Stance: Southpaw

The southpaw version of the pivot-trap. After the initial 1-2, you use the "Check Hook" to pivot off to a new angle as the opponent lunges forward, leaving them out of position for your finishing straight left cross.

Combo 166: The Locche

Stance: Orthodox

Inspired by Nicolino "The Untouchable" Locche. This drill is a masterclass in defensive fluidity—using leans, rolls, and "smothering" (stepping forward to jam the opponent's space) to negate their offense before landing a hook and stepping back to safety.

  • Left Hook

  • Lean Back

  • Right Hook

  • Roll Right

  • Step Forward (Smother)

  • Left Hook

  • Step Back

Combo 167: Jab Step Jab Slip Hook

Stance: Southpaw

A distance-management drill. You use a jab and a step back to measure the opponent's aggression. Once they commit forward, you jab again, slip to the outside, and fire a sharp lead hook into the opening you’ve created.

  • Jab

  • Right Hook

Combo 168: The Conor

Stance: Orthodox

Inspired by Conor Benn, a long, high-variety combination. This drill focuses on continuous flow, integrating uppercuts, rolls, and pivots. It challenges your ability to stay balanced through multiple defensive resets while continuing to target the body and head with precision.
